Deprecated on QuantTrail
Model graveyard
Local AI models released more than a year ago. Their files still download and run, but QuantTrail no longer supports them: they are not checked against new hardware, and a newer model in the same family is almost always the better choice.
What "deprecated" means here
- It is QuantTrail's own label, by release date: more than one year old. The maker may still host the files.
- A deprecated model keeps its page, sizes and download links, with a notice and a pointer to the newest model of its family.
- Models that ran only on a company's servers and were switched off (for example older hosted chat models) are a different list. Those are tracked by deprecations.info and the makers' own pages, such as OpenAI's deprecations page.
